Licensed Master Social Worker
Justin M. Eastland
Justin Eastland is a licensed master social worker, executive coach, and multi-sport athlete. His clinical work, competitive athletics, and 20 years of business leadership all feed into one question: why do people behave the way they do, and what actually changes it.
He holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver with a focus on mental health and trauma, and is currently completing a Psy-D in Psychodynamic Theory at Southern California University of Health and Sciences. His clinical certifications span trauma, DBT, ADHD, autism, couples therapy, and integrative mental health.
His clinical practice, coaching work, and writing all draw from the same source: the conviction that human behavior is not random — it is architectural. Identify the structure, and the behavior becomes predictable. Change the structure, and the behavior follows.
"The aim is given. Behavior is what actualizes it."
Licenses & Key Certifications
Background & Experience
01
Clinical Practice
Justin practices at Azure Stone Mental Health and Wellness in Meridian, Idaho, where he provides individual and couples therapy specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. Prior to that he spent two years at Middleton Counseling, where he grew his client base 35% while maintaining a 90%+ retention rate.
02
The LION Model
The LION Model emerged from thousands of hours of clinical work — observing the same structural failures repeat across different people, relationships, and contexts. Rather than addressing symptoms, the model maps the architecture: Pressure, Capacity, Polarity, Sequence, Domains, and Identity. When those elements are aligned, behavior follows. The model and its IP are held through AlphaPrime Counseling & Coaching.
03
Sports Psychology
Justin has coached athletes across football, rugby, baseball, soccer, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and MMA for over two decades — advancing competitors to collegiate and professional levels and earning a 7x national gold medal record in BJJ at multiple belt levels. He holds a BJJ Black Belt awarded through Leo Vieira of Checkmat. His sports psychology work integrates biofeedback, neurofeedback, and trauma recovery with performance training.
04
Business & Leadership
Before entering clinical practice, Justin spent 20 years in executive leadership — negotiating contracts exceeding $100M, expanding into international markets, growing revenue 45% in three years, and coaching 200+ business leaders. That background in organizational systems and human performance is woven directly into the LION Model.
